Procurement of HDPE and DI Pipes, Valves, and Allied Works for Water Supply Schemes in Karachi

Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the procurement and installation of HDPE and DI pipes, valves, and allied works for various water supply schemes across Karachi. This notice is issued by the Superintending Engineer (District Korangi) and covers multiple lots with specific technical and financial requirements. The works are to be executed at different locations within Karachi, and the scope includes supply, laying, jointing, and testing of pipes, as well as installation of valves and related civil works. Items being procured: - Supply and laying of 110mm HDPE pipeline for UC-10, 1459 running feet (Rs. 7,199,859/-) - Supply and laying of 110mm HDPE pipeline for UC-10, 1459 running feet (Rs. 6,80,88,876/-) - Supply and laying of 110mm, 160mm, 200mm, 315mm, 450mm, 900mm HDPE pipeline for various UCs, 1466 running feet (Rs. 10,95,72,175/-) - Supply and laying of 8 inch, 6 inch, 4 inch DI pipeline for various UCs, 1470 running feet (Rs. 93,247,989/-) - Supply and installation of 100 HP DWT motor pumps for various UCs, 1488 running feet (Rs. 31,243,153/-) - Supply and installation of 100 HP DWT motor pumps for various UCs, 1489 running feet (Rs. 41,873,785/-) The technical scope includes procurement and installation of HDPE and ductile iron pipes of various diameters, valves, and allied civil works. Contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category (CE-09, CE-10, EE-05, ME-07, C-4, C-5) and must provide valid FBR/ATL certificates. Earnest Money ranging from Rs. 1,500,000/- to Rs. 5,400,000/- is required for each lot, to be submitted in the form of Pay Order or CDR. Bidders must submit their technical and financial proposals separately under the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. The deadline for bid submission is 27 October 2026 at 2:00 PM at the office of the Superintending Engineer, District Korangi, Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation. Bids will be opened on the same day at 2:30 PM. All documents must be submitted through the Sindh e-procurement portal (http://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk).
