Procurement of a High-End Desktop Workstation (High-Performance Computing)

The Power Planning And Monitoring Company (PPMC) Islamabad invites sealed bids through EPADS v2.0 for the procurement of a High-End Desktop Workstation (High-Performance Computing) under a Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to acquire a high-performance desktop computer with advanced specifications to support computational tasks at PPMC's office in Islamabad. Items being procured: - High-End Desktop Workstation with Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 285K Processor (E-cores up to 4.60 GHz, P-cores up to 5.50 GHz) - NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5090 32GB GDDR7 GPU - 64 GB DDR5-5600MT/s RAM (2 x 32 GB UDIMM) - 2 TB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 Performance TLC Opal Hard Disk - USB Wireless Keyboard and Mouse - 1200W AC Power Adapter and Power Supply - External Ports including multiple USB-A, USB-C (Thunderbolt 4), DisplayPort 1.4, RJ45 Ethernet, Audio connectors - 250W 360mm Liquid Cooling system with ARGB Fans - Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and latest Ubuntu - Warranty: 3 years parts and labor OEM on-site warranty with supplier support The technical scope includes delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of the workstation at PPMC office #112, 1st Floor, Evacuee Trust Complex, F-5/1, Agha Khan Road, Islamabad. The bidder must be an authorized distributor or supplier with at least three years of experience in supplying and installing IT hardware. Bidders must provide valid NTN, GST registration, be on the Active Taxpayers List, and submit a bid security of Rs. 150,000 in the form of pay order or demand draft. The bid validity period is 120 days. The deadline for e-bid submission is 29th September 2026 at 11:00 AM via EPADS v2.0. Manual bids will not be accepted. The original bid security must be submitted physically to the PPMC office before the closing time. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. Financial bids of only technically qualified bidders will be opened subsequently. The contract will be awarded on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 22nd September 2026 at 11:00 AM at the PPMC office.
