Supply, Installation and Commissioning of High Head Pelton Turbine Runner and Jet Nozzles for 18 MW HEPS Nalter Ph-IV

The Water and Power Department Gilgit-Baltistan Hydro Electric Workshop invites qualified contractors for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a High Head Pelton Turbine Runner and Jet Nozzles for the 18 MW Hydroelectric Power Station Nalter Phase IV located in Gilgit. This tender is issued by the Executive Engineer of the GBHEW Division Gilgit. Items being procured: - High Head Pelton Turbine Runner - Jet Nozzles for 18 MW HEPS Nalter Ph-IV The scope includes the complete supply and installation of turbine runners and jet nozzles designed for high head hydroelectric power generation. The project requires experienced contractors with valid PEC registration under category ME-07(ix) for the financial year 2026-27. The manufacturer must hold ISO-9001 certification, Tier-II or above rating, and provide an authorization certificate from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Proven experience of at least ten years in TG set production with expertise in turbine runners is mandatory. Bidders must have successfully completed at least three similar projects with a minimum capacity of 3 MW in Pakistan, supported by completion certificates. Financial stability is critical; bidders must provide a bank credit line certificate and bank statements showing transactions of at least PKR 50 million over the last six months. No blacklisting, defaults, or litigation certificates must be attached. The completion period is four months after the commencement order. Bidding documents can be purchased from the Executive Engineer W&P Department GBHEW Division Gilgit office during office hours upon payment of PKR 10,000 (non-refundable). The technical bid and financial bid must be submitted by 06-August-2026 at 12:00 hours, with bid opening at 12:30 hours the same day. Earnest money of PKR 1,968,000 is required.
