Supply Installation Testing Commissioning of High Speed Edge Inscription and Rimming Machine

The Pakistan Mint Lahore is procuring a High Speed Edge Inscription (Edge Lettering) and Rimming Machine for coin blanks ranging from 14mm to 50mm diameter. This procurement includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the machinery along with allied works such as power and earth cable laying, cable tray installation, pneumatic and water piping, and minor civil works for machine foundation and isolation. The project is based in Lahore under the Pakistan Mint department. The technical scope covers a machine capable of producing 600,000 to 225,000 pieces per hour depending on coin size, with a rimming machine processing rate of 130,000 pieces per hour. The equipment includes a counting device, manual feed chute, AC motor, electrical components compliant with DIN EN 60204-1, and various accessories such as rimming and edge-lettering tool sets. Installation and commissioning on site are mandatory. The supplier must provide detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and ensure the machinery is brand new and operational under extreme weather conditions. Warranty of at least one year covering labor and parts is required. Eligibility requires bidders to be registered with FBR and ATL for the current financial year, possess relevant PEC categories if applicable, and submit earnest money in the form of CDR, Banker's Cheque, or Bank Guarantee amounting to Rs. 3 million. The bidder must have an office in Punjab or Islamabad Capital Territory. The tender follows a single stage one envelope bidding procedure through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS) portal. Bids must be submitted by 25-05-2026 before 11:30 AM at Pakistan Mint Lahore.
