Tender Document
Tender Description
The National Highway Authority (NHA) Maintenance Region M-4, based in Faisalabad, Punjab, is procuring highway safety works specifically for the Motorway M-4 section between Multan and Pindi Bhattian. This tender focuses on the provision and fixing of barbed wire fencing along the motorway to enhance safety and security. The scope covers a significant stretch from KM 0+00 to KM 150+000, including NBC and SBC sections, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the route.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors with valid Income Tax and active taxpayer status with the Federal Board of Revenue. Additionally, registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-5 or higher, with specialization in CE-01 and CE-10, is mandatory. This ensures that only qualified and experienced firms participate, maintaining high standards for the project.
The bidding documents are available for free download from June 25, 2026, on the NHA website. The submission deadline is July 2, 2026, by 11:00 AM, with the technical bids opening the same day at 11:30 AM. Bidders should submit their proposals through the NHA e-bidding system, as manual submissions will no longer be accepted. The contact office is the General Manager (Maintenance) M-4 at NHA Complex, Kamalpur Interchange, Faisalabad.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely EPADS (PPRA) registration and to prepare both technical and financial bids meticulously, as the single stage two envelopes method requires clear separation and compliance. Early preparation of Earnest Money and CDR documentation aligned with the financial year will facilitate smooth participation and avoid disqualification.
