Tender Description

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Islamabad invites applications from qualified advocates for appointment on the Panel of Advocates (Service Law) to represent FBR and its subordinate offices across Pakistan in service law matters before the Federal Service Tribunal, High Courts, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Federal Constitutional Court, and other judicial/quasi-judicial fora. This panel is specifically for service law purposes at FBR headquarters and its field formations. Items being procured: - Legal opinions, endorsements, and recommendations on service law, employment, disciplinary proceedings, promotion and seniority disputes, pension matters, terms and conditions of service, constitutional and administrative law issues - Representation before Federal Service Tribunal, High Courts, Supreme Court, and Federal Constitutional Court - Preparation of para-wise comments, replies, appeals, petitions, and pleadings - Litigation monitoring and reporting including next hearing dates - Conveyance of court/trial directions and assistance in compliance - Assistance in litigation strategy and legal risk assessment The scope includes handling departmental service litigation professionally and timely. Advocates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, be enrolled with the Bar Council as Advocate High Court/Supreme Court, and have at least three years' experience in service law or related litigation. Preference is given to those experienced with Federal Service Tribunal and higher courts. Advocates already on FBR's tax matters panel must submit fresh applications. Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu are required. Applications must include CV, CNIC copy, High Court/SCP enrolment card, academic credentials, list of judgments in service law matters, and details of professional experience. Applications should be sent to Tariq Hussain Tunio, Chief (Legal-HR Admn/HR), Room No. 462, 4th Floor, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad within 15 days of publication. Interview dates will be intimated after shortlisting. Bidders should ensure their applications are complete and submitted timely. No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.
