Hiring of Services of Satellite Communication for Chinese-Deployed Seismic Stations

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Islamabad, invites reputable IT firms, companies, service providers, contractors, government and semi-government organizations, suppliers, and vendors registered with relevant government agencies and active taxpayers to submit bids for the hiring of services of satellite communication for Chinese-deployed seismic stations. This procurement is conducted through PPRA EPADS 2.0 and requires bidders to have a relevant profile and meet the criteria mentioned in the bidding documents. The procurement follows the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under Rule 36(b) of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Proposals must be submitted through EPADS 2.0 by 29-09-2026 till 10:30 hrs. The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 hrs in the presence of participants or their authorized representatives. Bid security of Rs 500,000/- in the form of CDR, bank draft, or pay order in favor of the Director General, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Islamabad, must be submitted along with the bid. Bids without the required bid security will be rejected. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a performance guarantee of 10% of the work order value in the form of CDR, pay order, bank draft, or bank guarantee until the completion of the contract. All firms are directed to quote their bids online through PPRA E-PADS 2.0 as well as submit original bids in hard form to the I&P Section, PMD Headquarters office, Islamabad.
