Tender Description
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Agriculture & Food Division, Karachi, invites proposals for the hiring of a third-party consultancy firm to conduct a comprehensive impact assessment of the 4th International Food & Agriculture Exhibition of Pakistan (FoodAg Pakistan 2026), scheduled from 23–26 November 2026 at Expo Centre Karachi. This consultancy assignment covers the entire event lifecycle including pre-event planning, exhibition delivery, business and trade outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction, media impact, international benchmarking, and post-event momentum.
Items being procured:
- Inception Report within 2 weeks of contract signing
- Interim Progress Note mid-event or immediately post-event
- Draft Impact Assessment Report within 4–5 weeks after event closure
- Final Impact Assessment Report within 2 weeks of receiving TDAP comments
- PowerPoint Presentation of key findings
- Clean datasets and survey instruments
The scope includes detailed evaluation of event planning, marketing, exhibitor recruitment, buyer facilitation, physical setup, daily operations, B2B meetings, confirmed and projected business, stakeholder surveys, media coverage, benchmarking against international exhibitions, and post-event follow-up. The consultancy requires a robust mixed-methods approach including desk review, on-site data collection, surveys, interviews, focus groups, and quantitative analysis.
Eligible firms must be registered with FBR/SECP or relevant provincial tax authorities, be on the Active Taxpayers List at bid opening, have no conflict of interest with TDAP or major FoodAg contractors/exhibitors, and not be blacklisted. Firms should demonstrate proven experience in impact assessments of large-scale trade exhibitions, strong research and analytical capacity, and a qualified multidisciplinary team.
The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by 11:00 AM on 9th November 2026. Technical bids will be opened at 11:30 AM the same day. Bid security of PKR 50,000 is required in the form of Pay Order or Demand Draft. Manual submissions are not accepted.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure timely registration and submission on EPADS v2.0 platform and carefully prepare both technical and financial proposals according to the detailed TORs and eligibility criteria to avoid disqualification. Early submission is advised to address any technical issues with the portal.
This consultancy offers an excellent opportunity for firms specializing in trade event evaluation to contribute to enhancing Pakistan's agro-food sector visibility and trade outcomes through FoodAg Pakistan.
