Tender Description
The Labour & Human Resource Department under the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund is procuring transport services for the Workers Welfare School Boys located near Chawinda Railway Station, Tehsil Pasrur, District Sialkot. This procurement is specifically for providing pick-and-drop transport facilities to students of the school for two academic years (2026-27 and 2027-28). The contract involves hiring 14 vehicles with seating capacities ranging from 35 to 62 seats, covering multiple routes such as Gunnah Kalan, Daswan Meel, Kandar, Ismaeel Abad, and others, with distances varying from 10 to 56 kilometers round trip.
The scope requires vehicles model 2015 or later, with documentary proof, and adherence to a one-student-per-seat ratio. Bidders must be financially sound, experienced, and registered with Income Tax authorities. Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) equivalent to 2% of the total estimated contract cost is mandatory, along with a Performance Guarantee of 5% of the contract amount prior to signing. The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelopes procedure with separate technical and financial bids submitted online via the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS).
The last date for bid submission is **11th July 2026 at 11:00 a.m.**, with technical bids opening the same day at 11:30 a.m. Financial bids will be opened on **22nd July 2026 at 11:00 a.m.** Bidders should ensure complete compliance with all tender conditions, including timely submission of original CDRs to avoid rejection. A practical tip for bidders is to register early on the E-PADS portal and carefully prepare technical bids to secure the required 70% technical qualification marks, as incomplete or late bids will not be entertained.
