Tender Description
The Labour and Human Resource Department Punjab invites bids for hiring transport services for Workers Welfare School (Boys) located in Warburton, District Nankana Sahib. This procurement is specifically for providing pick-and-drop facilities to students of the school for two financial years 2026-27 and 2027-28. The scope includes transport services on ten identified routes covering various localities such as Karyali, Warburton City, Mamanwala, Village Lagran, Amir Diamond Mill, Tuli Plaza, Kharianwala, Nawan Kot, Faisal Mill, and National Feed Mill. Each route has specified seating capacities ranging from 40 to 57 seats and distances varying from 16 to 54 kilometers.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound, experienced, and registered with Income Tax authorities. Vehicles offered should be model 2015 or later, with documentary proof required. The bidding process follows a single stage two envelopes procedure with separate technical and financial bids submitted online via the Punjab E-Procurement and Disposal System (E-PADS). Earnest Money in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) equivalent to 2% of the total estimated contract cost must be submitted physically before the closing time of e-bid submission. The successful bidder will also provide a Performance Guarantee CDR of 5% of the contract amount prior to signing the contract.
Key dates include the last date for bid submission on 11th July 2026 at 11:00 AM, technical bid opening on the same day at 11:30 AM, and financial bid opening on 22nd July 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bidders should ensure complete compliance with all terms and conditions, including timely submission on E-PADS, vehicle eligibility, and technical qualification criteria requiring at least 70% marks.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the technical bid documents and ensure the original CDR is submitted physically on time to avoid immediate rejection. Registering early on the E-PADS portal and thoroughly reviewing the detailed terms and conditions available on the Punjab procurement website will enhance chances of success.
