Tender Description
The Energy Department Balochistan invites bids from eligible bidders for the execution of multiple home solar system installation projects across various locations in Balochistan under the PSDP 2026 program. The projects include:
- Home Solar System Tehsil Meharabad Surab under PSDP No. 1810 (Rs. 10,000,000)
- Home Solar System Killi Aurangzaib Mastung under PSDP No. 1811 (Rs. 10,000,000)
- Solar Street Light Mand, Tump under PSDP No. 1812 (Rs. 20,000,000)
- Home Solar Libnan Mand, Tump under PSDP No. 1813 (Rs. 25,000,000)
- Home Solar Rideeg Mand, Tump under PSDP No. 1814 (Rs. 10,000,000)
- Provision and Installation of Home Solar System for Killi Lehri Abad, Burra Bant, Shahwani Abad Civil Colony, Ghafoor Abad Khuzdar under PSDP No. 1808 (Rs. 15,000,000)
- Home Solar System Tehsil and District Surab under PSDP No. 1809 (Rs. 10,000,000)
- Home Solars UC Shapch under PSDP No. 1866 (Rs. 25,000,000)
- Home Solars UC Kirdkap under PSDP No. 1865 (Rs. 25,000,000)
These works involve the supply, installation, and commissioning of solar energy systems and solar street lighting in remote and rural areas to improve energy access. Bidders must have PEC registration in category C-6 and above (up to 25 million) with specialization in EE11(i) Solar, EE11(ii) Solar Energy, or EE11(iii) Solar Energy System. The bidder must be on the Active Taxpayer List and have completed at least one similar assignment in the last three years with a minimum turnover of Rs. 7,000,000 for schemes costing Rs. 10 million and above.
Bid security in the form of Bank Guarantee or Deposit at Call of 2% of the bid cost is mandatory. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned or downloaded from the BPPRA website. The last date for bid submission is 29th September 2026 by 10:00 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM on the same day at the Energy Department office, C-30 Railway Housing Society, Joint Road, Quetta.
Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids according to the Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding Procedure and ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification.
