Tender Description
The Energy Department invites eligible bidders for the provision and installation of home solar systems across multiple locations in Balochistan for the year 2026. The works are based on composite schedule rates 2026 on percentage rates.
Items being procured:
- Provision and installation of home solar system at Village Gidar, Kot Ghulam Ali and others, District Kachhi under PSDP No. 1795 Z2026.1085
- Home solar system for District Quetta under PSDP No. 1799 Z2026.1090
- Home solar system for Tehsil Sharigh and Tehsil Harnai under PSDP No. 1802 Z2026.1095
- Home solar system for various Killi of District Quetta under PSDP No. 1804 Z2026.1097
- Provision of home solar panels Killi Ishani Engr Jamal Khetran Barkhan under PSDP No. 1883 Z2026.3966
The technical scope includes installation of solar energy systems with specialized codes EE111(i) Solar, EE111(ii) Solar Energy, and EE111(iii) Solar Energy System. Firms must have PEC registration C-6 and above (up to 25 million) in the relevant category and demonstrate experience with at least 14 million PKR turnover in the last 3 years. The firm must have completed at least 1 similar nature work in the last 3 years in any government sector.
Bid security of 2% of the estimated cost is required in the form of Bank Guarantee or Deposit at Call. Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned and downloaded from the BPPRA website. The last date for bid submission is 25th September 2026 by 10:00 AM, with tender opening at 11:00 AM on the same day at 1-A, Night Star Complex Samungly Road Quetta.
Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids according to the single stage two envelope procedure. Ensure all eligibility criteria including FBR active taxpayer status and Balochistan Revenue Authority registration are met. Earnest money must accompany the bid. Early submission is recommended to avoid last-minute issues.
