Tender Description
The Village Electrification division of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is procuring works for the installation and erection of HT/LT structures and HT/LT PC/Spun poles in District Islamabad under the jurisdiction of Construction Division IESCO Islamabad. This procurement covers transportation, safe handling, erection, construction of foundations, backfilling, fixing of stay rods, and earthing of HT/LT structures, poles, and transformers as per WAPDA specifications.
The technical scope includes collection of materials from designated stores in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, construction of foundations for various sizes of HT and LT structures, installation of PC/Spun poles, earthing arrangements, and fixing of stay rods. The work involves multiple items such as foundation construction for 58', 45', 36', and 31' structures, installation of HT and LT poles, earthing rods for distribution transformers, and stay rod fixing. All works must comply with WAPDA specifications and drawings.
Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under codes EE-04, EE-05, CE-10, prequalified by NTDC Lahore, registered with FBR and Punjab Revenue Authority with active status, and have filed income tax returns for FY 2024-25. Experience in similar works with DISCOs or government/semi-government/autonomous bodies is required. Joint ventures are allowed with specific conditions including joint bank accounts and registration on EPADS.
The bid submission deadline is Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 10:30 AM via EPADS v2.0. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of BOQ cost in the form of CDR or Pay Order. The contract duration is 270 days. The submission address for bid security originals is IESCO Head Office, Street # 40, Sector G7/4, Islamabad.
