Tender Description
The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) is procuring repair and replacement services for HT Panels and allied electrical equipment at OPF Girls College located in F-8/2, Islamabad. This procurement is aimed at ensuring reliable electrical infrastructure for the college, which serves young women including students from overseas. The scope includes supply, inspection, installation, testing, commissioning, and transformer maintenance on a turnkey basis. Key items include HT 11KV termination kits, LT termination kits, transformer oil supply, Buchholz relay servicing, and panel cleaning and repainting.
Eligible bidders must be IESCO-approved firms with valid NTN and GST registrations, demonstrating relevant experience in HT electrical works and possessing adequate financial and technical capacity. Blacklisted firms are not eligible. The tender requires submission of a single-stage, one-envelope bid including bid security of PKR 15,000 in the form of CDR, pay order, or demand draft. Bids must be submitted to the Principal's office at OPF Girls College, F-8/2, Islamabad by 11:00 am on 18th June 2026. Bids will be opened the same day at 12:00 noon in the presence of bidders' representatives.
The contract completion period is 30 days with a 12-month warranty on workmanship and materials. Performance security of 10% of contract value is required within seven days of work order issuance. Testing and commissioning reports must be submitted before final acceptance. No advance payments will be made; payment will be released after successful completion and certification.
A practical tip for bidders is to physically inspect the site and equipment before submission to fully understand the technical requirements and avoid non-compliance. Ensuring all mandatory documents such as NTN, GST, IESCO approval, and experience certificates are complete and attached will improve chances of responsiveness.
