Illumination and Decoration of Passenger Terminal Building and Miscellaneous Locations for Independence Day & 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal at IIAP Islamabad

The Islamabad International Airport (Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA)) is procuring specialized illumination and decorative lighting services for the Passenger Terminal Building and various other locations at IIAP Islamabad. This procurement is specifically for the Independence Day (14th August) and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal events, scheduled for the financial year 2026-27. Items being procured: - Decorative series capsule-type bulbs (lari – Jota White and Green Light) - SMD lights with stands - Sogo green floodlights (100W) for plantation illumination - Border patti lights - Rope lights - Crescent and star motifs - Main cables for power supply from designated Distribution Boards (DBs) The technical scope includes complete illumination and decorative lighting for a continuous duration of 10 days. The work covers decoration of the front and side façades of the PTB concourse, illumination of domestic and international connecting bridges with white and green laris on both sides and front faces, themed lighting of east and north pier landscapes facing the land-side, display of the national flag with crescent and star motifs on MPC stair's walls facing DLB, lighting of the back wall of the main car park facing PTB, and full decorative lighting of the departure bridge handrails on both sides. All installations must be done with safe temporary electrical wiring, secure connections, and under the supervision of the Engineer In-charge to ensure uninterrupted performance, electrical safety, and aesthetic appeal throughout the event period. Eligibility criteria require bidders to have prior experience with beautification lighting arrangements at any airport(s), with proof mandatory for technical qualification. Bidders must comply with local safety regulations, provide trained and qualified staff, complete installation 12 hours before the event, provide on-site technical support during the event, and obtain necessary police verification and security clearances.
