Import of Laboratory Equipment on C&F Basis for Department of Textile Engineering

NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi invites bids for the import of laboratory equipment on C&F basis specifically for the Department of Textile Engineering. Items being procured: - Formaldemeter ISO 14148-1 (1 unit) - Zetasizer Nano Zs particle size and charge analyzer (1 unit) - Datacolor D850 Spectrophotometer (1 unit) - Sample Fabric Loom for denim fabric development (1 unit) - Stretch and Recovery Tester (Static Method) (1 unit) - Elmatear Digital Elmendorf Tear Tester with TestWise software (1 unit) - Yilmak Rainbow HS-W Series High Speed Washing Machine (1 unit) - Washing Equipments including Washer, Hydro, Dryer (1 set) - Basic Stitching Machines with 7" color touch panel (3 units) - Special Stitching/Embroidery Machines (2 units) - Automatic Fabric End Cutter PB-1 with accessories (1 unit) - Manual Flat Bed Knitting Machines (2 units) - Electronic Small Diameter Whole Garment Circular Knitting Machine (1 unit) - Melt Spinning Lab Scale Unit DW7090A with wet spinning machine DW7091A and DW7090G (1 unit) The technical scope includes supply, delivery, installation, putting into operation and demonstration of the equipment at NED University Karachi. The equipment must conform to international standards and specifications as detailed in the tender documents. The supplier must ensure quality, warranty, and after-sales service support. The delivery and installation schedule is negotiable but must be completed within 120 days from the letter of award. The bidder must have at least 3 years of relevant experience, an average annual turnover of not less than Rs 200 million, and valid GST registration with active status. The bid security of 2% of the total bid cost and a performance bond of 5% of the contract value are mandatory.
