Tender Description
NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi invites sealed bids on C&F basis under a Single Stage One Envelope procedure for the import of laboratory equipment specifically for the Computer & Software Laboratory of the Textile Engineering department. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the research and practical capabilities of the textile engineering faculty with state-of-the-art laboratory instruments.

The scope includes the supply and delivery of advanced laboratory equipment on C&F terms, ensuring compliance with technical specifications suitable for textile engineering applications. Bidders must be manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, or suppliers with proven experience in similar imports.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have at least 3 years of continuous verifiable experience in the relevant field. They must submit copies of online annual income tax returns for the last three consecutive fiscal years, demonstrating a minimum average annual turnover of Rs 20 million. Valid and active GST registration with an 'Active' taxpayer status is mandatory. Additionally, bidders should have successfully executed or currently hold at least two independent purchase orders for laboratory equipment imports in the last three years, each worth Rs 10 million or more, supported by satisfactory completion certificates or official performance verifications. An original affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of at least Rs 100/- is required, affirming no litigation history, no blacklisting, and no involvement in corrupt or fraudulent practices. The affidavit must be dated after the publication date of this NIT.
A fixed Bid Security of Rs 0.500 million is required as per Rule 37(2) of SPPRA, payable in favor of Director Finance, NED University. Tender documents are available and must be submitted through the EPADs portal according to the schedule. Bidders are advised to submit their best and final prices as no negotiations will be entertained.
