Import Laboratory Equipment for Department of Urban & Infrastructure Engineering

NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi invites bids for the import, supply, installation, and demonstration of laboratory equipment for the Department of Urban & Infrastructure Engineering. This tender is specifically for procurement on C&F basis and includes comprehensive technical and contractual requirements to ensure quality and timely delivery. Items being procured: - Asphalt Mix Preparation & Compactor (150 mm specimens) with accessories including funnel cap, mold tongs, magnet for end plates, specimen lift, calibration kit, circular paper discs, rapid angle measurement device, laser printer, 150mm mold assembly - Rolling Thin Film Oven (RTFO) with temperature control up to 200°C, rotating carousel, airflow regulation, over-temp protection, accessories including serial numbered glass bottles, cooling rack, scraper, heat-resistant tongs - Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) with speed range 0.001–1,500 rpm, temperature control -10°C to +200°C, LED lighting, RheoCompass software, Toolmaster auto-recognition, SmartPave II software - High-Performance Rotational Viscometer with viscosity range 2 to 140,000,000 mPa.s, torque 0.05–30 mNm, speed 0.3–1,500 rpm, built-in PT100 probe, advanced data-logging, USB/WiFi connectivity, accessories including TR series spindles, sample chambers, temperature controlled bath, advanced analysis software, temperature probe, sample chamber rack, circular bubble level - Computerized Profilograph system with high-precision automated road surface profiling, laser sensors, data logging and analysis software The technical scope covers supply, delivery, installation, and demonstration of equipment conforming to ASTM and AASHTO standards, suitable for laboratory use under local climatic conditions in Karachi. The equipment must be brand new, of internationally accepted commercial standards, and include all standard accessories and manuals. Installation hardware and technical personnel for installation and demonstration will be provided by the supplier at their cost. Eligibility criteria include minimum 3 years relevant experience, average annual turnover of at least Rs 100 million over last 3 years, active GST registration, affidavit of no litigation or blacklisting, and no forfeited performance security with NEDUET. Bidders must submit bid security of 2% of total bid cost and performance bond of 5% of contract value. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS only. Manual bids will not be accepted. The bid security pay order must be sent in original before the closing date. Bidders should verify their bid submission status on EPADS to avoid disqualification.
