This tender invites qualified contractors in Karachi to undertake the improvement, rehabilitation, and beautification of Shahrah-e-Quaideen under the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Engineering Department. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in relevant categories and comply with tax registration requirements including active status on the Federal Board of Revenue and Sindh Revenue Board tax payer lists. The project demands a PEC category suitable for large civil works and a minimum annual turnover aligned with the estimated cost. Contractors should ensure availability of key construction equipment such as bulldozers, motor graders, dump trucks, and excavators, and demonstrate experience in similar government sector projects. Compliance with FBR/ATL status and submission of an Integrity Pact are mandatory for eligibility.
The submission deadline is set for 17th February 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled the same day at 11:30 AM at the Office of the Chairman Procurement Committee, Engineering Department, KMC, Muslimabad, Karachi. Bids must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA e-Procurement System (EPADS). The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost, and performance security will be 5% of the accepted contract amount. Stamp duty at 0.35% of the contract value is payable by the successful bidder.
