Tender Description
The Executive Engineer Highways Division Hyderabad is procuring works for the Improvement of Drainage System in UC-35,51 TMC Mian Sarfaraz Taluka City & Pretabad, Taluka City District Hyderabad. This project involves comprehensive civil works focused on drainage system enhancement to improve water flow and reduce flooding risks in the specified urban areas of Hyderabad. The scope includes construction and rehabilitation of drainage channels, installation of necessary infrastructure, and related civil works to ensure effective water management over a 24-month period.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category with valid renewal up to June 2026. Firms should have completed at least three similar works with a minimum cost of 80% of the estimated cost in the last five years, supported by completion certificates and SPPRA bid evaluation reports. Additional requirements include audited financial statements from ICAP-registered firms for the last three years, NTN and SRB active registration, technical staff CVs, and bank creditworthiness certificates. The bid security is 5% of the estimated cost, payable via call deposit receipt only.
The tender documents can be downloaded from http://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk/ upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 5000. Bids must be submitted electronically through the SPPRA e-Procurement system by 09:00 AM on 4th May 2026. The technical bids will be opened at 10:00 AM the same day at the office of the Executive Engineer, Highways Division Hyderabad, SRTC Colony Opposite State Life Building Hyderabad.
