Improvement, Rehabilitation and Solarization in Jamia Masjid Abu Zar Ghafari Peshawar

The Communication and Works Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites bids for the improvement, rehabilitation, and solarization works at Jamia Masjid Abu Zar Ghafari located on Jaag Road Aslam Dheri Umar Abad, Peshawar. This project involves civil construction and electrical solar power installation to enhance the mosque’s infrastructure and energy efficiency. The technical scope includes structural rehabilitation, painting, and installation of solar panels as per the department’s specifications. The work is to be executed under the supervision of the Executive Engineer, C&W Building Division-I Peshawar. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category PK-C6 & above and registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority under the Finance Act 2013. Experience in similar civil and solar projects is essential. The tender follows the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure with separate technical and financial bids. Earnest Money in the form of CDR at 2% of the estimated cost is mandatory. The last date for submission is 21st July 2026 by 12:00 noon, with opening at 12:30 pm the same day. Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS). A practical tip for bidders is to ensure the financial bid is submitted with a valid CDR and that all documents are complete and signed to avoid disqualification. Also, quoting bids more than 20% below the engineer’s estimate requires additional security, so careful pricing is advised to remain compliant and competitive.
