Improvement and Upgradation of Aesthetic Illumination on Landside Access Roads at QIAP

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) invites bids for the Improvement and Upgradation of Aesthetic Illumination on Landside Access Roads at Quetta International Airport (QIAP). This project aims to enhance the aesthetic appearance and overall ambience of the airport's outdoor illumination, providing an attractive and visually appealing environment at the landside area, contributing to the beautification of the airport. Items being procured: - COB flexible LED strip light (700 meters) - 12 watt tree ring light (200 Nos) - 12 watt outdoor spot light (100 Nos) - LED Meteor Shower Light (50 Nos) - Wiring for sub-main with 2 core, 1.5mm² stranded copper conductor in PVC conduit (200 meters) - Supplying and drawing of 1.5mm² single core PVC insulated wire (240 meters) - Supplying and fixing 20mm dia uPVC conduit with bends, sockets, junctions (240 meters) The scope includes providing, installation, testing, and commissioning of LED lighting fixtures and associated electrical and civil works as per site requirements and approval of the Engineer Incharge. The materials include high-quality LED lights with IP65 rating, copper wiring, and PVC conduits. The work site is at QIAP, Quetta. Eligible bidders must be licensed constructors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 with specialization code EE-04. Bidders must also be active taxpayers with valid NTN and ATL certificates and must not be blacklisted by any government or semi-government body. A bid security of PKR 60,000/- is required in the form of Call Deposit Receipt, Pay Order, or Banker's Cheque. Bids shall be submitted electronically through the PPRA EPADS portal by the specified closing date. The original bid security instrument must be submitted physically in a sealed envelope before bid opening. Bidders are advised to review bidding documents thoroughly and submit complete and signed documents. Technical submittals including brochures and product data sheets for lights and cables are mandatory. The contract duration is 45 days from the date of written order to commence. The contract includes a 12-month maintenance period. Performance security and mobilization advance provisions apply as per PAA regulations. Bidders should ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards as outlined in the PAA HSE Manual.
