Tender Description
The National Highway Authority (NHA) invites eligible and qualified constructors to submit e-bids for the improvement and widening of two road sections on the N-5 highway in Punjab province. The works are divided into two packages covering the stretches from Phool Nagar to Manga and from Manga to Ring Road Interchange. These projects aim to enhance road capacity and safety by upgrading the existing carriageways (NBC & SBC).
Items being procured:
- Package-I: Improvement and widening of road section from Phool Nagar to Manga (KM 1212+200 to 1221+500), estimated cost Rs. 3,509.372 Million
- Package-II: Improvement and widening of road section from Manga to Ring Road Interchange (KM 1221+500 to 1231+600), estimated cost Rs. 3,114.185 Million
The scope includes civil works for carriageway widening, pavement strengthening, and related infrastructure improvements. Bidders must hold a valid PEC license for Financial Year 2026-27 in category C-B & above with specialization codes CE-01, CE-02, and CE-10. Firms must be registered with the Income Tax Department and appear on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue.
Bidding documents are available for free download from September 07, 2026, on the official e-bidding portal www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk. Technical and financial bids must be submitted electronically via the e-procurement system by September 17, 2026, at 1100 hours. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours.
Prospective bidders are advised to register immediately on the e-procurement system at www.eprocure.gov.pk as manual bids will no longer be accepted in future procurements. For inquiries, contact the Member Central Zone at NHA, Lahore.
