Tender Description
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Islamabad, is procuring the installation of a 50 KW Ongrid Solar Power System with 65 KW PV capacity along with the supply and installation of an 8 KW UPS. This project is based at NDMA Headquarters on Main Murree Road, Islamabad. The scope includes a complete solar power solution integrating with the existing grid and generator system, ensuring zero-export mode during grid outages to prevent reverse power flow into the generator. The installation covers PV mounting structures, electrical distribution boards, protection systems, earthing, and all related civil and electrical works.
Eligible bidders must be registered with PEC, be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue, and have relevant experience in solar power system design and installation. Firms are encouraged to visit the site for a better understanding of the existing power infrastructure. The bid submission deadline is **10 June 2026 at 1100 hours**, with technical and financial bids to be submitted online via EPADS and hard copies delivered to NDMA Headquarters.
The estimated cost of this procurement is **PKR 25 million**, inclusive of all taxes and duties. Earnest Money in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft amounting to PKR 300,000 is required with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance security of 10% of the contract value and must offer a minimum one-year after-sales service. Delivery and installation are expected within 2-3 weeks after issuance of the purchase order.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all mandatory documents including PEC registration, ATL certificate, and affidavits regarding product authenticity and blacklisting status are complete and properly notarized. This will avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation phase and improve chances of success in this competitive bidding process.
