Tender Description
Pakistan Military Manufacturing (PMM) is procuring the installation and commissioning of a hybrid solar system. This project involves the supply and setup of Tier-I branded solar panels with a capacity of 22 K/Watt, along with an IP-65 rated 3 phase hybrid inverter of 20 K/Watt. The system includes a lithium battery bank with 25-30 K/Watt capacity and a 10-year warranty. The scope covers the elevated structure made from 14 gauge Elway steel, complete with galvanization and rust protection to ensure durability. All necessary electrical components such as DC and AC power cables, distribution boards, and AC breakers are included. The project also requires full electrical and mechanical installation, commissioning, and deployment of the system. Transportation, labor, and material handling are part of the contract. Additionally, a three-year service package after installation is required, including complete earthing and lightning protection systems.
Eligible bidders should have relevant PEC categories for electrical and mechanical works, valid FBR registration, and a proven track record in solar power system installations. Experience with hybrid solar systems and warranty service management is essential. Interested parties must prepare a comprehensive technical bid supported by earnest money or CDR as per the financial year requirements. The submission deadline and address will be provided in the official tender documents.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all technical specifications, especially warranty terms and service packages, are clearly documented in the bid. This will help avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation phase. Also, timely submission before the deadline is critical to avoid rejection. This tender offers a significant opportunity for suppliers specializing in solar and electrical installations to contribute to sustainable energy solutions in Pakistan.
