Installation of Home Solar Systems and Solar Street Lights in Union Councils of Zhob

The Development Officer Zhob is inviting bids for the installation of home solar systems across multiple Union Councils including Wala Akram, Badinzai, Appozai, Herha, Barak Wala, Kakar Zahrozal, Omza, Huramzai, Shahabzai, Ghundai Sulemanzai, and Khost-Ibrahim Khel, as well as the installation of solar street lights at Union Council Garda Babar. This procurement is for the fiscal year 2026 and is based on composite schedule rates 2023 on percentage rates. The technical scope involves the supply and installation of solar energy systems suitable for home use and street lighting, ensuring sustainable and renewable energy solutions in the Zhob district. The project requires specialized knowledge in solar energy systems, including EE11(i) Solar, EE11(ii) Solar Energy, EE11(iii) Solar Energy System, and EE11(vi) General Electrical Works. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above, with a relevant specialized code for solar energy works. Firms must be on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) and registered with the Balochistan Revenue Authority. Experience is mandatory, with at least three completed assignments of similar nature and a turnover of no less than PKR 3,459,254 in the last two financial years. Performance certificates verified by the concerned department are required, along with written authorization for the bidding representative. Firms must have no pending litigation or non-performance issues in the last five years. The tender fee is PKR 1,500, and a bid security of 2% of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call. The last date for bid submission is 15 June 2026 by 10:00 AM, with tender opening at 11:00 AM the same day.
