Tender Description
The Town Municipal Corporation Sohrab Goth, Karachi, is procuring installation services for new poles with lights and ABC bundle cable overhead along Main Maymar Avenue Road, including areas such as Ahsanabad Chowk, Go Pump, The Inspiration School, Ghousia Estate, and Faizan Estate. This project involves the supply and fixing of MS tubular poles of 31 feet height, RCC foundations, GI double arm canopy fittings, LED street lights of 200 watts, and associated electrical connections. The scope also includes dismantling and installation work using hydraulic cranes and manual labor.
Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category and have relevant experience of at least five years, including similar works of comparable size and nature. Firms must also be registered with the Sindh Revenue Board, possess valid NTN certificates, and have a minimum turnover of PKR 4 million over the last five years. Electrical licenses are required where applicable.
The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Superintendent Engineer, Town Municipal Corporation Sohrab Goth, District East Karachi, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000. Earnest money amounting to 2% of the bid price must be submitted in the form of a pay order. Bids must be submitted online through the SPPRA e-procurement portal by 10:30 AM on 29-06-2026. The bids will be opened on 01-07-2026 at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
