Tender Description
This tender invites bids from eligible firms for the installation of an office solar system in Quetta under the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. The project involves setting up a 24kW hybrid solar system including solar plates and batteries, ensuring sustainable energy supply for the office premises.
The work requires technical expertise in solar energy systems, with a focus on quality materials and adherence to composite schedule rates 2023. The site is located in Quetta, where environmental factors such as temperature and dust must be considered for system durability and efficiency. The bidder must provide a minimum two-year warranty on all solar components.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above, with specialized codes EE11(ii) and EE11(iii) for solar energy. Firms should be on the Active Taxpayer List and not blacklisted by any agency. A turnover of at least PKR 6,790,000 in the last three years is mandatory, along with submission of paid utility bills for the last two months.
The submission deadline is set for 24 February 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the Secretary Office BBISE Quetta. Tender documents can be obtained from the office upon payment of a PKR 1,000 fee. Bidders must submit a 5% bid security in the form of a bank guarantee or call deposit receipt from a scheduled bank.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid security and technical documents comply strictly with the tender requirements to avoid disqualification. Also, verify the stamp duty and affidavit details carefully as these are commonly overlooked in solar energy tenders.
