Installation and Operationalization of Weighbridge at Gabd Border Terminal

This tender invites qualified contractors to undertake the civil and mechanical works for the installation and operationalization of one weighbridge at Gabd Border Terminal, District Gwadar. The scope of work includes comprehensive civil works such as earth filling up to 5 feet, preparation of foundation pit as per approved drawings, construction of RCC foundation, approach ramps of 20 feet on both sides, and pit walls for a weighbridge measuring 60 feet by 13 feet with a minimum weighing capacity of 150 tons. Drainage arrangements and pit protection are also part of the civil scope. Mechanical works encompass installation, leveling, and precision alignment of the weighbridge platform and load cells, installation of junction boxes, signal cabling, indicator units, and control room equipment. The contractor will also perform mechanical fitting, fastening, structural assembly, calibration, load testing in accordance with Weights & Measures standards, and final testing, trial run, and commissioning prior to handing over.
