Tender Description
The Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantt / Garrison) Regional Office in Bahawalpur Cantt is inviting sealed bids from contractors approved by MES or Government for the installation of solar systems at two key educational institutions in the Bahawalpur region. The projects include a 60 KVA On Grid solar system for the FG Public School (Girls) and a 20 KVA Hybrid solar system for FG Inter College located on Noor Mahal Road, Bahawalpur.
Separate tender forms for each institution, including detailed work specifications, can be obtained from the Regional Director's office during official hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000 each. The scope of work involves the supply and installation of solar power systems designed to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability at these educational facilities.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors approved by MES or Government, with relevant experience in solar system installations. Compliance with FBR and ATL registration is expected. Bidders are required to submit a bank draft of 3% of the bid price as earnest money (CDR) in accordance with PPRA rules clause no. 25. No conditional or email tenders will be accepted.
Tenders will be received starting from 30th June 2026 until 14th July 2026 at 10:00 AM and will be opened on 14th July 2026 at 11:00 AM in the presence of all bidders and the tender committee at the Regional Office in Bahawalpur Cantt. Interested contractors should ensure timely submission to avoid disqualification.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the technical bid requirements and ensure all documentation, including earnest money and PEC credentials, are complete and properly submitted. This will help avoid common pitfalls that lead to bid rejection. Early collection of tender documents and site visits, if possible, are recommended to fully understand the project scope and technical specifications.
