Tender Description
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) is inviting qualified contractors for the integrity testing of HSD and PMG pipelines at the JIMCO Mehmoodkot Terminal in Punjab. This procurement is critical for ensuring the safety and operational reliability of the pipelines. Items being procured:
- Integrity Testing of Pipeline (5.6 KM HSD and 7.2 KM PMG pipelines)
- CP system inspection including Transformer Rectifiers, junction boxes, anode beds, test posts, insulation joints, and pipeline crossing bonds
- Repair of Pipelines 16" dia including bell hole excavation, UT testing, coating repair services
- Transportation and mobilization charges covering equipment, labor, food, accommodation, and tools
The technical scope includes DCVG Survey, CIPS or PMC, interference stray current assessment, GPS tagging of coating defects, and preparation of detailed route maps. The contractor must comply with NACE SP0502 standards and provide training to terminal engineers. The repair work involves excavation up to 12 meters depth, surface preparation, primer application, coating, and verification surveys. The CP system inspection covers electrical measurements and operational verification of all components.
Eligibility criteria require contractors to have experience with at least 10 KM of integrity testing using DCVG, PCM, and CIPS methods, supported by proven documentation. At least one technical supervisor per team must be NACE Certified Corrosion Technologist or equivalent. Calibration certificates and verification demos may be requested. All personnel must have police verification for terminal access.
