Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the interior white wash of all corridors in the P-Block of the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives located in Islamabad. The project falls under construction and civil works materials category and is managed by the Ministry itself. The scope includes surface preparation by scrapping and sanding, application of primer and two coats of distemper, and polishing of wooden doors and frames. The work requires adherence to international standards such as ASTM, ACI, and BS, ensuring quality and durability.
The site is situated in the Pak Secretariat, Islamabad, where bidders must consider logistical challenges including material transportation and site access. The contractor is responsible for all materials, labor, scaffolding, and waste management. The quantities are approximate and will be verified on site. The project demands technical expertise in surface finishing and renovation, with a focus on smooth and durable finishes for corridors and wooden elements.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for civil works, hold valid NTN and Sales Tax registration, and maintain active tax payer status. The tender requires submission of a bid security of 2% of the bid price and compliance with FBR and ATL requirements for the financial year 2025-26. Firms should have at least three years of relevant experience and demonstrate financial stability through audited statements. The tender follows a single stage two envelope bidding procedure with technical and financial bids.
The submission deadline is set for 5th March 2026 at 10:00 AM via the EPADS electronic portal. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM online. Hard copies must also be submitted physically at Room No. 109, P-Block, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad. Late or manual bids will not be accepted. Bidders should ensure all documents including technical brochures, financial statements, and affidavits are complete and submitted timely.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to carefully review the bid security requirements and submit the Earnest Money in the name of the DDO, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives. Missing or incorrect bid security is a common cause for disqualification. Also, verify the submission on EPADS portal well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
