Internal Audit Officer Contract Position

The Lahore Garment City Company (LGCC), operating under the Ministry of Commerce (Textile Wing), Government of Pakistan, Lahore, invites applications for the position of Internal Audit Officer on a one-year contract basis, extendable based on performance. This opportunity is specifically for qualified professionals with expertise in internal auditing within public or private sector companies. Items being procured: - Internal Audit Officer position on contract The role requires a Post Graduate degree in Business or Finance, M.Com (HEC Recognized), or B.Com (HEC Recognized) with SAS/PIPFA certification. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as an Internal Auditor in public or private sector companies. Key areas of expertise include report writing for federal government audit reports and annual audit reports, compliance with authority, forensic audit, taxation system, public finance, audit, finance, accounting, and corporate affairs of the company. Proficiency with the Companies Act 2017, Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules 2013, SOE's ownership and management policy 2023, and other relevant laws and regulations applicable to the company is essential. The position offers a market-based salary package with benefits according to company HR policy. The maximum age limit for applicants is 55 years, and only Pakistani nationals are eligible.
