Karachi Development Authority (KDA) invites bids for Janitorial and Conservancy Services of Civic Center Building, including open spaces, gardens, parking areas, walkways, and water ponds within the boundaries of the Civic Center Building located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. This procurement is for a 12-month contract to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the entire Civic Center complex. Items being procured: - Daily sweeping of internal and approach roads, bituminous car parking, garbage removal in Civic Center Building compound (116,018 % Sft) - Sweeping and washing of paved walkways and C.C car parking surfaces (37,632 % Sft) - Daily sweeping and mopping of marble mosaic floors and staircases (377,124 % Sft) - Cleaning of marble vertical walls, central block, wings, lifts, main gates, monuments, and walkways - Cleaning of seminar and conference halls (8,220 % Sft) - Cleaning of doors, windows, aluminum handles, and locks with oiling once a month - Daily cleaning and scrubbing of 44 toilet sets with provision of deodorants and naphthalene balls - Cleaning of electrical fixtures including fans, lights, and fittings monthly - Washing of walls, removal of webs monthly - Cleaning of side parapet walls and staircases weekly - Cleaning of reflection pool, water fall, and monuments monthly - Daily garbage disposal from chutes to approved KMC place - Upkeep and maintenance of boundary walls, compound grills, flower pots weekly - Maintenance of sewerage system, storm water drains, archrival stone pitching, and gutters continuously - Providing color and net cleaning of reflection pool monthly - Cleaning and polishing of conference room furniture and wooden paneling daily - Cleaning and polishing of six lifts daily - Sweeping and washing of documental space daily - Providing air fresheners in conference and seminar halls - Emergency team of 4 sweepers and 1 supervisor for 16 hours daily - Provision of plumber, carpenter, and electrician (each 1x2) - Cleaning and decontamination of underground/overhead water tanks with chemicals - Painting of surfaces with plastic emulsion paint - Cleaning of septic tanks and soak pits - Cleaning inside sewerage lines mechanically/electrically with accessories The scope includes all cleaning materials, equipment, manpower, and consumables. Bidders must have valid CNIC, NTN, SRB registration, FBR active taxpayer status, relevant experience with completion certificates, financial capacity with bank statements and audit reports, adequate trained manpower, cleaning equipment availability, office presence in Karachi, and affidavit of no blacklisting or litigation. Bid security of Rs. 1,360,000 and tender fee of Rs. 3,000 in the form of Pay Order in favor of Karachi Development Authority are required. Bids must be submitted through the SPPRA e-procurement portal (EPADS) by 27-10-2026 at 02:30 PM. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 03:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their representatives at Civic Centre Complex, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi.
