Tender Description
The Government of Balochistan has constituted a Commission of Inquiry headed by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Muhammad Aamir Nawaz Rana to conduct an independent and comprehensive judicial inquiry into the terrorist attack on Mangi Dam Pumping Station in District Ziarat. This inquiry aims to investigate the tragic loss of precious lives of police personnel and to ascertain the facts, circumstances, causes, and attending circumstances leading to the incident. The Commission will examine issues including deployment and adequacy of police officials, availability of weapons and backup forces, logistical support, and responsibility of district administration and security apparatus.
All concerned persons, including legal heirs and relatives of martyred police personnel, law enforcement agencies, and officers of district administration and other departments, are hereby directed to appear and register their names with Malik Shoaib Sultan, Additional Registrar, High Court of Balochistan, at High Court premises, Hali Road Quetta, on 28th August 2026 during office hours. The Commission will have full powers under the Criminal Procedure Code to record statements, obtain call detail records, and summon witnesses.
