Tender Description
Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology (QUEST) Nawabshah is procuring lab equipment for its Biomedical Engineering Department under the Sindh Laboratory Strengthening Program (SLSP) for Public Sector Universities for the financial year 2024-25. This procurement is specific to Nawabshah, Sindh, and is managed by the Procurement Manager at QUEST. The tender invites bids for supply, installation, putting into operation, and demonstration of lab equipment at the university laboratories.
Items being procured:
- BIK-TA Bioinstrumentation Physiology Teaching Kit including all necessary hardware and components (10 standard biosensors)
- Labscribe software
- Expertly written courseware to teach 59 experiments in biosensing cardiovascular, respiratory, and neuromuscular physiology
- Capability to signal condition biosignals acquired from biosensors
The technical scope includes supply of brand new, high-quality lab equipment suitable for biomedical instrumentation and physiology labs. The equipment must conform to international standards and be capable of operation in local conditions at Nawabshah. Installation, commissioning, and demonstration of the equipment will be the responsibility of the supplier. The university will provide necessary hardware and electric supply at 220V single phase or 380V three phase, 50 cycles.
Eligibility criteria require valid NTN registration, minimum three years of relevant experience, and compliance with FBR/ATL registration. Bidders must provide financial statements, bank account details showing minimum balances, and must not be blacklisted. Earnest money of Rs. 125,000 (5% of estimated cost) in the form of a pay order is mandatory. The bid validity period is 90 days.
Key dates include tender issuance from 21.07.2026 to 05.08.2026, with bid submission deadline on 05.08.2026 at 11:00 AM at the Procurement Office, PGS Building, QUEST Nawabshah.
