Tender Description
This tender invites bids from qualified suppliers in Balakot for the supply of laptop computers and a photocopier machine to support the office operations of the 300 MW Balakot Hydropower Project under Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO). The procurement falls under IT & Office Equipment and Electronics & Appliances categories, reflecting the need for modern computing and document handling solutions.
The scope includes six laptops featuring Core i7 14th Gen processors, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, 13.3 inch touchscreen displays with original Windows OS, and a one-year warranty. Bidders must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) with active status and possess an active Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN). Compliance with PEC categories is not applicable here as this is a goods procurement. For the fiscal year 2025-26, bidders should ensure their documentation and tax status are current to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 27 March 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening immediately thereafter. Bidders must submit their proposals via the E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) and also deliver a sealed hard copy to the Project Director at the 4th Floor, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Building, Phase V, Hayatabad, Peshawar. The bid security of 2% of the quoted price must accompany the bid in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR).
