Tender Description
The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) is launching its new official website effective from 19th January, 2026. This update affects all procuring agencies across Pakistan, requiring them to activate their user accounts to continue procurement activities seamlessly. The new platform will centralize all procurement and disposal related functions including tender publication, evaluation reports, and contract awards.
This transition involves procuring agencies completing a password-setting process via activation links sent to their registered emails. Agencies without accounts or those who have not received activation emails must submit a designated form along with a covering letter to the provided email address. The new website aims to enhance transparency and efficiency in procurement processes nationwide.
Agencies are advised to ensure their PEC registration and FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status are up to date for compliance with 2025-26 procurement regulations. Maintaining these credentials is crucial for uninterrupted access and participation in tenders through the new portal.
The deadline for completing registration and activation is prior to the launch date, with all procurement activities shifting exclusively to the new website from 19th January, 2026. For assistance, agencies can contact the PPRA helpdesk via email or phone. Physical submissions are not applicable for this update.
Pro-Tip: Keep a close watch on your email inbox and spam folder for the activation link. Missing this step can delay your agency's ability to upload tenders and evaluation reports, potentially affecting your procurement timelines.
