Continuous Management Services for Passenger Lifts at SBP Head Office Karachi

The Engineering Department, State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC), invites eligible EPADS-registered service providers to submit bids for continuous and uninterrupted management, operation, technical support, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of passenger lifts and allied equipment at the SBP Head Office and SBP Complex in Karachi. The contract duration is twelve months, with possible extension under the bidding conditions. Mandatory service list: Lot 1, Services for Lift, quantity 1 job, delivery location SBP Complex, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi, delivery period 12 months. The lot comprises: 1) Supervisory Services, quantity 1 job; 2) Operation Services, quantity 1 job; and 3) Technical Support Services, quantity 1 job. The equipment includes six Schindler passenger lifts, identified as Passenger A through Passenger F, with a stated capacity of 1350 kg for Passenger C, located at the Main Bank Building. Services cover site supervision, machine-room and landing operations, round-the-clock emergency support, inspections, troubleshooting, cleaning, lubrication, safety checks, log sheets, preventive servicing, corrective repairs and maintenance of allied lift components. Client-provided spare parts, fittings, fixtures, electricity and water are excluded, while routine consumables and necessary tools and equipment are to be arranged by the service provider. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 and satisfy the stated eligibility requirements, including FBR registration, relevant provincial revenue registration, EOBI registration, the required undertaking, technical capability and evidence of at least two qualifying lift-management contracts completed during the past five years. The bidder must be Schindler OEM or an authorised dealer with a valid current-year authorisation certificate. A **PKR 200,000** bid security is required by pay order, call deposit or demand draft, and the successful bidder must provide a 5% performance guarantee. Technical and financial bids must be uploaded through EPADS by **27 August 2026 at 12:00 PM**. Opening is scheduled for **27 August 2026 at 12:30 PM**.
