Tender Description
The Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) Islamabad invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement of a Light Duty Photocopy Machine under contract reference P58226 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is conducted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 using a Single Stage-One Envelope procedure with Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) technique. Items being procured:
- Light Duty Photocopy Machine (6 units)
The photocopiers must be brand new, latest models with a drum life of at least 70,000 copies, print speed of 30 CPM or higher, support A4 and A3 paper sizes with built-in duplexing, color touch screen panel, RADF/DADF, local trolley, and continuous operation capability. Additional features include a warm-up time of 20 seconds or less, paper capacity of 1000 sheets or more, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor or higher, scanning capabilities with 100-sheet capacity, toner yield of 20,000β25,000 pages, USB 2.0/3.0, mobile printing support, energy efficiency certification, secure printing with user authentication, minimum 2 GB RAM, and a minimum one-year comprehensive warranty including parts and labor.
Bidders must be manufacturers or authorized dealers with at least 5 years of experience supplying photocopy machines, have an authorized service center in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, and provide warranty and spares support for at least 3 years after warranty expiration. Compliance with FBR registration, ATL listing, and non-blacklisting declarations is mandatory.
Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS v2.0 by **Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM**. Original bid security must be physically submitted to the PTA office at F-5/1, Islamabad before the deadline. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS. Manual submissions are not accepted.
Interested bidders should register on EPADS v2.0 and may seek clarifications by September 24, 2026. The procurement process includes strict eligibility criteria, bid security requirements, and evaluation based on technical and financial merits.
