Supply of Low Hydrogen Welding Electrodes

Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) invites suppliers to submit tenders for the supply of Low Hydrogen Welding Electrodes to be delivered free of cost at KSEW, Karachi. This procurement is specifically for 5000 Kgs of electrodes, brand new and fresh, with specialized vacuum packing (VACPAC) and a minimum shelf life of 2 years. The electrodes must bear the brand or trade name printed on each unit and be accompanied by valid LRS/BV Classification Society certificates. Expired certificates will lead to disqualification. A packet sample of AWSE-7018 (3.2MM) must be submitted with the offer for performance testing; samples in loose packing are not acceptable. The delivery period is 15 days after issuance of the purchase order. The tender is issued by the Purchase Department of KSEW located at West Wharf, Karachi. Suppliers must be registered with FBR and provide NTN and GST numbers in their offers. The tender requires a supplier warranty/guarantee for 12 months in addition to any OEM warranty, as per the enclosed Supplier Warranty Form. The tender validity must be at least 60 days from the commercial/financial opening date. Earnest money in the form of a Pay Order is required as per instructions.
