Negotiated Tendering for Procurement of Machine Work and Spare Parts for Major Overhauling of STBD Main Engine for PQA Craft S.L. Jatli

The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC Workshop) Karachi invites sealed bids through EPADS v2.0 for the negotiated tendering of machine work and spare parts required for the major overhauling of the starboard (STBD) main engine C8M-410 (Engine No. 2287 A-1) of PQA Craft S.L. Jatli. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and aims to ensure the operational readiness and efficiency of the marine engine. Items being procured: - Crank shaft polishing and grinding (1 qty) - Machining main bearing pin (9 qty) - Machining begin bearing pin (8 qty) - Cone rod bush fitting (8 qty) - Cam shaft bush fitting (8 qty) - Cylinder head valve guide and seats fitting and machining work (16 qty) - Head water flange welding and threading (1 qty) - Fuel pump overhauling (1 qty) - Cylinder liner with O ring kit (8 qty) - Piston ring set (8 qty) - Lube oil pump (1 qty) - Begin bearing set (8 sets) - Main bearing set (9 sets) - Piston pin and bushes (8 sets) - Inlet and outlet seats (8 sets) - Cam shaft bush (8 qty) - Valve stamp seal O ring molded gasket (16 qty) - General purpose joint sheets in sizes 1.5 mm, 0.8 mm, and 3 mm (1 qty each) - Silicone sealant red tube (6 qty) - Rubber impeller for sea water pump (1 qty) - Turbo charger (1 qty) All machining work and spare parts are to be delivered and serviced at PNSC Workshop, 30 Dharamshala Street, Keamari, Karachi within 30 days. The scope includes precision machining, fitting, welding, and overhaul services to meet marine industry standards. Only genuine spare parts conforming to specifications will be accepted; used or refurbished items are strictly prohibited. Eligible bidders must have at least one year of experience in similar marine industry works, be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List, and demonstrate a minimum average annual turnover of PKR 4.2 million supported by audited financial statements. Bid security in the form of a Pay Order is required. Bids will be evaluated on a Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) basis. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by Friday, August 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The original bid security must be physically submitted to PNSC Workshop, Karachi before the deadline. Late or manual submissions will not be entertained. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM via EPADS.
