Tender Description
This tender invites experienced and financially sound Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), authorized dealers, or agents in Pakistan to prequalify for supplying, installing, and commissioning industrial stitching machines under the 1000-Industrial Stitching Units (Phase-II) project in Lahore by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA). The project targets export-oriented SMEs in textile-related sectors, aiming to boost productivity and export competitiveness through high-quality, energy-efficient machinery.
The scope includes a variety of stitching machines such as lock stitch, overlock, embroidery, fabric cutters, and other related equipment. Suppliers must demonstrate proven experience, financial strength, and capability to provide after-sales support including training and maintenance. The project offers matching grants with a 60:40 cost-sharing ratio, with a maximum grant of PKR 5 million per unit.
Applicants must comply with PEC category requirements, maintain active tax status on the FBR Active Taxpayers List (ATL), and provide a minimum one-year warranty with spare parts availability for at least three years. The prequalification remains valid for three years, and firms must not be blacklisted or under investigation.
Submission deadline is set for 12:30 PM on **April 6, 2026**, with bid opening at 1:00 PM on the same day. Proposals must be uploaded electronically on EPADS. The physical address for correspondence is 4th Floor, Building No. 3, Aiwan-e-Iqbal Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your proposal includes a valid Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as performance guarantee equal to 10% of the work order amount and double-check all registration and tax compliance documents to avoid disqualification.
