Tender Description
The Executive Engineer of the Provincial Buildings Division No: II, Karachi is procuring maintenance and repair services for electrical works at the Sindh Secretariat Old Barracks Block 4(A) located in Karachi. This tender focuses on day-to-day compliant electrical work including installation and fixing of circuit breakers, wiring for light and plug points, laying PVC insulated copper conductors in conduits, and fixing electric bracket fans among other electrical tasks.
The technical scope covers a comprehensive range of electrical materials and services such as circuit breakers of various amperages, PVC insulated wiring in surface and recessed conduits, LED tube lights, ceiling fans, LED downlights, and servicing of split air conditioners of different capacities. The work is to be executed at the specified site in Karachi with strict adherence to the specifications and drawings provided by the Engineer-in-charge.
Eligible bidders must have valid PEC registration in the relevant category, be registered with FBR and ATL, and demonstrate prior experience in similar electrical maintenance works. The bid security is set at 5% of the bid amount, which will be converted into a performance guarantee upon successful bidding. The contract duration is three months from the date of commencement.
