Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites bids for the major overhauling of a standby Diesel Generator Engine make Deutz 325-KVA to meet electrical power energy needs at KPT premises in Karachi. This procurement is managed by the Mechanical & Electrical Engineer-II Department of KPT. Items being procured: - Major overhauling of standby Diesel Generator Engine (Deutz 325-KVA) The scope includes comprehensive maintenance and repair of the diesel generator to ensure reliable power supply at the port facilities. Bidders must submit their bids electronically through the E-PADS System as per Clause 36(a) of PPRA Rules-2004 under the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure. The bid security required is a Pay Order of Rs. 140,000 in favor of the Chief Account Officer, KPT, to be submitted in original at bid opening. A scanned copy of the bid security must be uploaded with the bid documents. The bid submission deadline is 22-09-2026 at 1100 hours, and bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours in Room No. 32 of CM&EE-II Department at the Ground Floor of KPT Head Office, Eduljee Dinshaw Road, Karachi. Bids not submitted through E-PADS V2.0 will be rejected. The bid validity period is 90 days from the date of bid opening.
