Tender Description
Major renovation works are planned for the establishment of a commercial business hub at the National Bank of Pakistan's Regional Office in Faisalabad. This project, under the National Bank of Pakistan, involves extensive civil, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and furniture works to upgrade and refurbish the existing facility to meet modern banking and commercial standards. The scope includes dismantling, reinforced concrete works, masonry, plastering, flooring with porcelain and granite tiles, glass partitions, false ceilings, electrical wiring, air conditioning installation, plumbing fixtures, and high-quality furniture installation.
The works will be executed at the Faisalabad site, requiring skilled workmanship and quality materials such as Grade 60 steel reinforcement, imported porcelain tiles, laminated MDF sheets, and advanced HVAC systems with inverter technology. The project demands compliance with Pakistan Engineering Council registration requirements (C-6 category with specialization codes CE-10 & EE-04) and active status on the FBR Active Taxpayer List. Bidders must have completed at least three similar projects costing not less than PKR 25 million in the last three years, preferably for banks or financial institutions.
Bidders should ensure PEC registration, valid FBR/ATL status, and meet all 2025-26 regulatory requirements. The tender follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure via the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS). Bid security of PKR 800,000 is mandatory, with original security to be submitted before bid closing. The contract duration is 120 days from commencement, with delay damages capped at 0.1% per day up to 10% of the contract price.
Submission deadline is 11:00 AM on 23rd April 2026, with bid opening at 11:30 AM the same day at the National Bank of Pakistan Regional Headquarters, Lahore. Bidders must submit bids online via EPADS, with original bid security physically delivered. The office of the Wing Head, Engineering Wing (Central), NBP Lahore, is the contact point for submissions and clarifications.
Pro-Tip: Ensure strict adherence to bid security submission timelines and PEC category compliance. Missing original bid security or incorrect PEC registration are common grounds for bid rejection. Also, carefully review the detailed Bill of Quantities and technical specifications to avoid underestimating the scope, especially for specialized works like HVAC and electrical installations.
