Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the exclusive media rights of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) covering television broadcasting, live streaming, and associated rights for the 2026-29 seasons in Pakistan. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) based in Lahore seeks qualified media partners to handle the comprehensive coverage and distribution of PSL matches, ensuring wide reach and high-quality transmission across the country.
The scope includes securing rights for all PSL matches, requiring bidders to demonstrate technical capability in broadcasting and digital streaming. The tender demands a thorough understanding of media rights management, content delivery networks, and audience engagement strategies. The PCB expects bidders to comply with all regulatory and contractual obligations, ensuring seamless coverage from match venues to viewers nationwide.
Bidders should hold a valid FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status and meet PCB's compliance requirements for the 2025-26 financial year. While PEC categories are not applicable, bidders must ensure all financial and technical documentation, including Earnest Money and Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), are submitted as per PCB guidelines. This tender emphasizes transparency and adherence to Pakistan's procurement laws.
The submission deadline is set for 4th February 2026 at 03:00 PM, with technical bids opening at 03:30 PM on the same day at the PCB office in Lahore. Only technically qualified bidders will proceed to the financial bid stage, which will be scheduled later. All submissions must be delivered in sealed envelopes to the designated PCB address.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the ITT document for specific Earnest Money and stamp duty requirements, as these are often overlooked and can lead to disqualification. Also, ensure all correspondence is directed only to the official PCB email to avoid misinformation.
