Tender Description
The Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Institute of Cardiology in Quetta invites eligible bidders for the supply of medical equipment and accessories. This procurement is under the Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 and requires strict adherence to eligibility criteria and submission guidelines.

The scope includes supplying cardiac disposables and related medical equipment with a shelf-life requirement of 75% to 80% from the date of supply for local and imported products respectively. Bidders must provide authorization from manufacturers or importers, registration with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, and ensure non-declaration of substandard or adulterated items as per the Drug Act 1976. Supplies must be priced reasonably below trade prices for bulk orders. The contract duration is two months from the supply order date, with a commitment to replace disposable items as needed.
Eligibility requires three assignments of similar nature and complexity worth PKR 56 million in the last three years, with a turnover of at least PKR 60 million in three subsequent years. Firms must be on the Active Taxpayer List, hold a sales tax certificate, and not be blacklisted. Joint ventures are not allowed. Bid security of PKR 500,000 in the form of a bank guarantee or deposit at call is mandatory.
