Tender Description
This tender invites sealed bids from reputable and registered firms for supplying medical equipment and accessories to the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al-Nayhan Institute of Cardiology in Quetta under the Balochistan Health Card Program (BHCP). The Health Department, Government of Balochistan, oversees this procurement, focusing on quality and compliance with BHCP Policy Guidelines 2024.
The scope includes providing medical equipment and accessories that meet the specifications of the installed equipment at the institute. The procurement process follows a single-stage, two-envelope procedure covering eligibility and financial criteria. Firms must be registered with the Income Tax Department, hold valid sales tax registration, and possess licenses from relevant health authorities. A financial capacity of PKR 20 million is required, along with a turnover certificate. The warranty period for supplied items is 12 months from the date of supply.
Bidders should ensure compliance with FBR active taxpayer status and maintain a valid ATL. The tender requires submission of a declaration on a PKR 500 stamp paper confirming non-blacklisting status. The process demands adherence to BHCP procurement policies, including submission of a judicial stamp paper undertaking. Payments will be made within 120 days post satisfactory delivery and installation, via bank transfer to the firm's account.
The submission deadline is set for Tuesday, 07 January 2026, by 11:00 AM, with quotations opening on 08 January 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Procurement Department SMBZAN ICQ, located at Kach Road, near NUST Quetta. Interested firms should prepare their technical and financial bids carefully, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
Pro-Tip: Carefully review the BHCP Policy Guidelines 2024 and ensure the judicial stamp paper undertaking is correctly prepared, as missing or incorrect documentation can lead to disqualification. Also, confirm the warranty terms and financial capacity documents are in order to avoid delays during evaluation.
