Tender Description
The Punjab Employees Social Security Hospital located on IJP Road Islamabad is inviting bids through the E-Procurement system for the supply of medical gases in supplier's own cylinders/vessels for the fiscal year 2026-27. This procurement is specifically for the Social Security Hospital Islamabad under the Punjab Employees Social Security Institution. Registered suppliers with active Sales Tax and Income Tax registration, possessing established credentials in technical, financial, and managerial capabilities, and not blacklisted by PPRA and PESSI are eligible to participate.

- Medical gases in supplier's own cylinders/vessels
The procurement scope involves supplying medical gases in the supplier's own cylinders or vessels, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards suitable for hospital use. The bidding process will follow the Single Stage – One Envelope Bidding Procedure as per Rule 38(1) of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules, 2014. Both the Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal must be combined and uploaded on the E-Procurement system in the prescribed format.
Interested bidders must submit a 2% E-Bid Security of the estimated price of quoted items/equipment through the E-Procurement system portal. The bids must be submitted by 04-08-2026 till 10:00 AM, with the opening scheduled on the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives. The procurement will be governed under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, with the possibility of cancellation at any stage as per Rule 35 of PPRA Rules 2014.
Bidders are advised to ensure their registration on the PPRA/E-Procurement system website and PESSI website to download detailed specifications and instructions. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the combined technical and financial proposals in the prescribed format and ensure timely submission on the E-Procurement portal to avoid disqualification due to procedural lapses.
